1. Thank goodness the holidays are almost over.
2. It was 83 degrees on Christmas day. That is just wrong on so many levels.
3. The kids are home for another 11 days. I need it to be the 12th day.
4. If I hear “I’m bored” one more time…well, I’ll leave you to your imagination.
5. And yes, they’re saying it even with all they got for Christmas. Some things never change.
6. My husband doesn’t go back to work for another 18 days. On day #1, I was so happy about that.
7. My feelings have changed about that by now, day #8.
8. The week before everyone was off for winter break/vacation, I went through the whole house and did some seriously deep cleaning.
9. I need everyone (except me of course) to leave this house so my house will be clean again!
10. Why can’t socks make it to a hamper and shoes to a closet?? (and I’m not talking about my socks or shoes, either).
11. If I walk by the television one more time and see another John Wayne movie on, I am going to shoot it. And my husband, too.
12. Why do men have to watch every old cowboy movie ever made, even when they’ve already seen it a hundred times??
13. Sigh….see #1.
