Earlier in the week I attended a reunion with past coworkers from when I worked at the Sheriff Dept. A lot of people were able to attend but some had to work that day. One of my friends that I use to work with couldn’t get the day off to attend but she did manage to make a quick entrance: she did a fly-by. As she circled us from above, I grabbed my camera and zoomed in for a shot. When I looked through my lens, I had to laugh. She had her camera out as well!
Later that day I emailed her and told her I thought it would be awesome if she would send me some of her pictures that she had taken that day. She did, and the resulting, ‘straight-out-of-the-camera’ picture above is what we got. Chris and Karen, together again, but this time from above and below. And Karen, seriously? I feel much safer knowing you, one of L.A.’s finest, is up there watching us down here. Thanks girlfriend!

Wow.. that is so neat! It took me a minute to “get” it.. at first I thought it was one shot, and the helicopter was HUGE. Like.. apocolyptic, end-of-the-world huge. Whoa. Once I read your post and understood, I really, really like it!
